Shiney happy people

Wow, loads of people want more 3 colum themes? I’m working on it I swear! :D Ideally, I’d love to have a plain but fully customizable three column theme written up. I have a plain one, just need to write the extensive options page.

I quickly had a look at another 3 column one I’ve been tinkering with, so if you can find it, feel free to play around. ;)

There’s two new master feeds as well, one for Pages and one for comments. You’re a chatty bunch. At least it’s been helping me find the blogs where spam is getting through and yes, I’m going in the backend and cleaning out spam from people’s blogs. On the to-do list is moving the spam plugin so it is automatically on for everyone, and so it works somehow where I (admins) can go in and tweak it site-wide so users don’t have to worry about it. I also moved the auto-close comments from the plugins folder, to a master plugins folder that activates it on ALL blogs automatically. if you don’t want your comments closed after 10 days let me know. This is a helpful deterrent to spammers though.

I also added another Page here to the main blog (see top menu), listing all available themes on the system so a potential user can see what we’ve got before signing on. Needs works, as it shows some odd characters and also includes themes I’ve disabled.
And if you haven’t, y’all need to run over and tell Keer how fabbo she looks.

  1. Hi Andrea, I’d like to keep my comments open indefinitely please. I do have people who read through and comment on older posts. Spam Karma seems to be catching the majority of spam for me, and the plugin allows users to set a higher filter for comments left on older posts, which should resolve potential problems by leaving comments open. I do like the idea of Spam Karma being an automatic site-wide thing, though. I noticed the new theme page, what a good idea. Thanks!

  2. Hi Andrea,
As you know I have maxed out my allotted space. Can you explain how I can delete soemfiles to make room for new stuff? I went to my write page, down to upload, view all, then deleted a bunch, but it still says I am maxed out and need to delete files. So, Obviously I aint doin it right.
    Help?
BTW I did do the flickr thing and that should help from now on, right?

  3. Ohhh! I would love a 3 col theme! Preferably in colors similar to tropical breezes (if you are taking requests LOL!). But maybe with slightly cleaner fonts for the side bars. I’m easy to please LOL!

OH, and I would like to keep comments open as well. I sometimes submit older posts to carnivals and the like and it would be nice to let them comment when they read them.

    Thanks!

  8. It took me months to find a lean mean cross browser three column layout. I think this is it, I could be wrong, but I use it all the time:
