Nasty spam alert

There were three very nasty and frightfully long (and not to mention outright crazy) spam that got trough the system. I think they are working their way through the server, as they got my blog and Ron’s too, all around the same time.

At any rate, I went in to all three blogs and cleaned them up rather than leave them there for their owners to look after. SK should stop them now, and yes, the IP - same on all comments - has been banned. It took less time to stop them than it did for them to write that long comment.

Considering the thousands of spam that gets stopped sitewide on a weekly basis, the half a dozen that got through this week is pretty insignificant.

Meanwhile, work on the system is underway on an offline copy.

5. Yeah, I got two of those as well in the last week, just deleted them. Crazy for sure, and LONG…there sure are some real nut-jobs out there!! thanks for banning the IP.
