And we are back

In case you didn’t see it here on the main blog, the site has been down since Tuesday. Our *former* hosts decided that we were using too many system resources on a shared server, so they changed their TOS and suspended the account. By resources, I don’t mean bandwidth or space, I mean processing. I’ll blog those stats later.

We’re now on a kind of account known as VPS for Virtual Private Server. Which also meant it took this long for us to get things rolling again, because we have full control of the server. I detailed a lot of this on my personal blog, which was on a different account. Same host as above though, so I’ll be moving that too.

Let’s hope the rest of the week is quiet and your houses remain clean. I hear some of you had loads of free time without a blog.

Oh, there may be a few quirks to iron out. Some files had spaces appended in the transfer which may result in a a scary-looking “headers not sent out” error.  Also, I haven’t re-uploaded everyone’s pictures yet, but I will.

And I can’t thank you all enough for your patience.

News and News

The Homeschool Country Fair is open again! I want to see lots of submissions from here, because there’s loads of excellent posts I’ve been reading.

Also, we are moving tomorrow. Not the site, but our household stuff. I don’t have internet at the new place yet, but I do have places to go and check in once a day or so. If you need help, post to your blog or in the support forum. If you can help someone, please do.
