A slight change to signup procedures

Due to spam bloggers signup up in droves, far more than legitimate users, I’ve instituted a small change to the signup page. Now, new users will be moderated and I will approve them. This doesn’t affect current users, as you should still be able to go create another blog with no problems.

Spam blogs, also know as “splogs”, are produced automatically with a script. They are set up for the express purpose of gaining search engine rankings.

Tried to sign up?

Unbeknownst to me, the signup page was mysteriously hosed and redirecting back to the main page. A couple helpful people brought it to my attention, and it was thankfully an easy fix.

Sign up at will!

(Except for you crazy spammer bots. You guys can go away. :P)
