Feel free to blog - more later

Well, that took a bit longer than expected. But we are all now on a multi-database setup. Users should not really notice a difference, except for we have room for more bells and whistles. :) I’m working on smoothing out the rough edges of the bells and whistles now. I figured I should let you all get back to blogging while I do so, though.

Some of you may notice a few new things in the backend, but I’d like for you to hold off on tinkering with any of it until I make a formal announcement and write up some instructions. :)

If things are bumpy, just know that I am working on some things and it’ll iron itself out in a few minutes.

RE SPAM: Also, a few people let me know that soem spam comment notices were emailed to them and when they looked, it was gone. This is because the automated spam bot sent the email notice before the spam tried to post. feel free to delete those emails. If there’s too many, turn off email notifies by going to OPtions->Discussions and unchecking the right box. I’ll see if I can block them.

Colonial author in our midst

I can’t imagine any of our members not knowing about Paradise Found, but in case you haven’t discovered Kris’ blog, you do really have to go read. She’s an author and homeschooler - a great combination leading to great books. :) Check out her sidebar - there’s a link there to a FREE download of her book, Great Colonial America Projects. I know some of you are studying Thanksgiving this week, and I think this would come in handy.

Don’t forget to leave her a comment and say thanks. :)
