Nope ... if she's having that much fun, it's not real learning. That child should be sitting at a desk, being drilled until her head explodes. :-P

Thank you (and Superboy) so much for sharing such an inspiring process with us.
I couldn't possibly love the end more than I love the beginning! :)

Well - I bought some little pegs and balls with holes in them for geo shapes.
But I can clearly see that marshmallows and sticks/skewers are quite the thing!
Put to good use all those thousands of skewers we have.
A wonderful picture!

I got chess. Hmm. I've never liked chess (well, ever since my little brother started beating me at it). I'd rather be boggle or scrabble. Maybe a jigsaw puzzle.

You have helped me so much with my right brained learner, and we've only just begun. To have your insight and knowledge in a book would be such a gift. Count me in for a copy as soon as it's published!!

LOL! I'm sorry someone didn't get it as the joke it was. Maybe they didn't have kids the right age, because I find it quite snicker-worthy.

Does your computer run better now? Do you really notice a difference? I could use some serious maintenance on my computer right about now.

BTW... I put up a blog, though I haven't done too much with it. You're welcome to take a look. Hopefully, we'll start adding regular entries to it! Arlington Eclectic Academy

I am completely over the moon that Sylvia is friends with both your kids. She and Carbon seem very much alike in some respects, at the very least in their verbal expressiveness.

The other day at church he had his action figure put Sylvia's Ariel doll in a "dungeon" (the play mailbox), and when Sylvia was going to send in a rescue mission he said not to because his guy was going to realize that what he was doing was wrong and let her out. I thought that was so funny and charming.
